U.S. News & World Report named Northwest Nazarene University’s Graduate Education degree offerings as one of the top online programs in America in the new 2017 Best Online Programs rankings that were released on January 10. This is the first time NNU’s Graduate Education programs have ranked on this new but prestigious list and is number 123 of 188.

The U.S. News & World Report rankings for Best Online Graduate Education Programs are based on five categories: student engagement, student services and technology, admissions selectivity, faculty credentials, and training and peer reputation. NNU offers online master’s, education specialist, Ed.D. and Ph.D. degrees in areas including Curriculum, Instruction & Innovation, Organizational Development, and Educational Leadership.

NNU Professor of Graduate Education Dr. Mike Poe said, “The Graduate Education Department is pleased to see our new online programs achieve this distinction so quickly. While we have worked with distance education for over a decade, we have moved into the wholly online world only during the last two years, and to receive this distinguished ranking is an honor for our faculty and our online support personnel.”
