Northwest Nazarene University invites the community to attend the Mangum Mission Series where Pastor Greg Arthur, president of the board of directors for “Free the Girls,” will discuss human trafficking and offer a way we can partner with women rescued from sex-trafficking. The series will take place in the NNU Brandt Center on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 10:10 a.m. and Friday, Sept. 25, at 10:10 a.m.

“Free the Girls” is a non-profit organization that partners with safe houses and after-care facilities to provide an opportunity for rescued women to earn a living selling second-hand bras, while going to school, getting healthy and caring for their families. Selling bras allows women to have flexible schedules, have minimal contact with men and have a high profit margin.

In order to partner with these women, there will be a bra drive on campus Wednesday, Sept. 23 through Thursday, Oct. 1. Bras or money can be dropped off at the chaplains’ office on the second floor of Emerson Administration Building.
