"Little Women, the Broadway Musical" presented by NNU
Louisa May Alcott’s captivating story comes to life in “Little Women, the Broadway Musical,” presented by Northwest Nazarene University’s Department of Music. Performances will take place March 30 through April 1 at 7:30 p.m. and April 2 at 3:00 p.m. in NNU’s Brandt Center, Swayne Auditorium.
Based on Alcott’s book and personal life, “Little Women” follows the adventures of sisters Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested. Her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her she can do better and should write more from her own life and experiences. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo finds success weaving the story of herself and her sisters growing up in Civil War America.
A story filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, love and family, “Little Women” is a touching production audiences will remember for years to come.
Tickets are available through the NNU Brandt Center Box Office at 467-8795, the NNU Department of Music at 467-8413 or online. Ticket prices are $15 for general admission; $10 for students, seniors and military; and $5 for NNU students with ID.
