Donna Allen awarded Professor of the Year
President Pearsall announced the winners of the annual employee-of-the-year awards in chapel Monday, April 25.
Professor of the Year
Students from the College of Arts and Sciences select one faculty member each year whose personal characteristics and quality teaching skills embody NNU's mission and vision. The selection of “Professor of the Year” honors the professional work of one faculty member. But, more importantly, this award honors the work of the entire faculty who give themselves each day to the task of teaching students.
Dr. Donna Allen, Associate Professor of Communication, came to NNU spring semester 2004 in the Department of Communication Studies. "Each year her students make positive comments about the quality of her teaching, including—and maybe most importantly—the personal attention and care she provides. Donna's dedicated service to God, to NNU, her students, local church, and family embody the best of what NNU faculty is about."
