NNU will host the annual Science Extravaganza for local middle school students the week of January 30 through February 3 in the Thomas Family Health and Science Center. Students can enjoy hands-on learning experiences with live animals and amphibians, learn the physics behind video games and more.
NNU is pleased to announce a generous donation of the writings of Karl Barth, one of the most important theologians of the 20th Century. This gift from the personal collection of Dr. Judith Brownell will be celebrated with a public program and reception on Wednesday, February 1.
Keynote speakers, breakout sessions and workshops will combine theory and practice as we explore all aspects of communal worship in the local church at NNU's Wesley Conference, February 2–3, 2017. Topics will include music, sacraments, scripture reading, and preaching.

NNU's Department of Music will present a fall concert featuring the unique styles of both the NNU Concert Band and Bella Voce women’s chorus on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Brandt Center’s Swayne Auditorium. Concert Band’s repertoire will reflect instrumental sounds from across the ages; Bella Voce’s program will explore the concept of remembrance.
In conjunction with Homecoming & Family Weekend 2016, NNU invites the community to attend this year’s Department of Music Concert on Saturday, November 12. The concert will feature performances from NNU’s top ensembles including Bella Voce, Jazz Revival, Concert Band, Northwesterners, and Crusader Choir & Orchestra.
Come hang out with friends, family, alumni and current NNU students in the Johnson Sports Center fieldhouse for free food, games and fun following the end of the men’s basketball game.
Join us for a 5K run/walk, hosted by the NNU Cross Country and Track and Field teams, that will take place on Saturday, November 12 at 11:00 a.m. The event will start in front of the Leah Peterson Learning Commons on East Dewey St. and finish on the track.
