Academic councils vote to accept ITT transfer credits

Academic councils at NNU recently voted to accept transfer credits from ITT Technical Institute students who were displaced in September. The vote is an expression of NNU’s commitment to assist persons in the Treasure Valley who desire a value-centered education through NNU’s variety of regionally and professionally accredited programs.

Nursing department to hold White Coat Ceremony

NNU has been selected as the first Idaho school to host a White Coat Ceremony. This ground-breaking collaboration between the Arnold P. Gold Foundation (APGF) and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) was developed to promote humanistic, patient-centered care among future generations of registered nurses. NNU will hold its ceremony on Monday, September 26 at 6 p.m. in the Swayne Auditorium.

The 2016 Eugene Emerson Award was presented to radio station 670 KBOI (a Cumulus Media Inc. station) at the annual NNU President’s Dinner. The community outreach and exposure that has been afforded to NNU by the partnership with 670 KBOI has been central to the building of a strong NNU brand in the Boise Valley.
